The FFP10 was successfully held in Mianyang City, Sichuan Province of China, from November 13th to 15th. The meeting was hosted by the Chinese Academy of Water Sciences (CAS) and the International Flash Flood Initiative (IFI), and organized by the Disaster Reduction Center (DRC), the IRTCES and the IFI Secretariat. More than 100 people, including experts, researchers and postgraduates from universities and research institutes in France, Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam and other countries, domestic universities, research institutes, enterprises, as well as local governments and water administration authorities, participated in this event.

Through the seminar, the delegates deepened their understanding of the challenges and responses to flash flood prevention and control, and enhanced their understanding of the needs of flash flood prevention and control in the "Belt and Road" countries.
