UNESCO, the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Chinese Academy of Sciences will co-host a UNESCO Science Centres Coordination Meeting in Beijing, China, during 16-18 May 2016.
Set within the context of the 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement on climate change, the meeting will explore how UNESCO's category 1 and category 2 centres can assist in the implementation of UNESCO's programme and the 2030 Agenda, how UNESCO can assist the centres in widening the scope of their action, and how the centres can cooperate as a network creating synergies and partnerships to address global challenges.
