On May 31, 2012, Delegation of the Jasa Tirta I Public Corporation, Indonesia visited the International Research and Training Center on Erosion and Sedimentation (IRTCES) for technical exchanges. The delegation members are Mr. Tjoek Walujo Subijanto, President Director of the Corporation; Mr. Harianto, Director of Technical Affair; Mr. Alfan Rianto, Chief of R&D Bureau; and Mr. Taufikurrachman, Chief of Water Resources Division II. Ms. Tong Yuling, former Deputy Secretary-General, Prof. Liu Cheng, Deputy Division Chief, and Prof. Zhang Yanjing of the IRTCES welcomed the guests, introduced the center’s establishment, operation and achievements, and had discussions on technical issues of both interests.

Jasa Tirta I Public Corporation is one of the two River Basin Organizations in Indonesia, who manage water resources in Brantas River Basin and Bengawan Solo River basin in Java. The Corporation is one of NARBO (Network of Asian River Basin Organization) member, and strategic partner of CRBOM, Center of River Basin Organization and Management, one of APWF - Water Knowledge Hub.
