IRTCES NEWS (August 2, 2006):  On the afternoon of August 2, 2006, a meeting was held in the Conference Hall of the IRTCES. All the staff of IRTCES attended the meeting. Vice Director General of Department of Personnel, Labor and Education, Ministry of Water Resources (MWR), Mr. Liu Xuezhao announced the decision of appointing Mr. Yu Qiyang as Vice Director of the IRTCES. Mr. Liu briefly introduced experience of Mr. Yu’s study and work and highly appraised his accomplishments.

Director of the IRTCES, Dr. Kuang Shangfu and Vice Director, Dr. Hu Chunhong gave their speeches respectively, during the meeting and expressed gratitude to the MWR for selecting excellent leading talent for the IRTCES and welcomed Mr. Yu Qiyang joining the IRTCES.

Mr. Yu, born in Shandong Province, graduated from Tsinghua University with master’s degree in hydraulic engineering. Prior to joining the IRTCES, He worked as Vice Division Chief and then, Division Chief of the Department of General Office, MWR for many years.
