IRTCES is administrated by a Board of Directors, which is appointed by the Ministry of Water Resources, P.R. of China. The Secretary General presides over the routine work of IRTCES. IRTCES is assisted by the International Advisory Council, which consists of representatives of UNESCO, UNDP, FAO and representatives of international scientific associations and eminent scientists in this field.
